How the Licensing Course Works
This is a four month program that meets two nights a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Classes are held in a live streaming webinar. This provides students with the New York State required 100 hours of classroom training.
40 hours of practical training is available on Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Local homes are provided by the school each month for these mock inspections. The student will then go home and write the home inspection report for that house. During the following classroom sessions the instructor will review and critique the report.
The goal of this process is to promote the writing of clear and concise professional Home Inspection Reports.
